The terms of using Trovfolio.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.

License grant (EULA)

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial purpose of cataloging and tracking your own belongings. We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service.

License restrictions — you will not

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law;
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
• Access the Service via automated means or circumvent rate limits, refresh limits, quotas, or other technical guardrails;
• Use the Service or its valuations to build or benchmark a competing product, or resell or commercially exploit valuations or market data;
• Upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or use the Service to misrepresent values to any third party (including insurers, courts, or tax authorities).

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Your account and content

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. You retain ownership of the photos and details you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including transmitting relevant data to the third-party processors described in the Privacy Policy to generate valuations.

Valuations are estimates (key term)

The Service produces automated value estimates, not certified appraisals. It is a tool to help you understand and organize the approximate value of your belongings, not a substitute for a professional appraisal. Estimates may be inaccurate and may differ materially from actual prices. Different value types (resale, replacement, fair-market, cost basis) are distinct and are never blended. You agree not to rely on any estimate for insurance, estate, tax, financial, lending, or legal decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional. We may add, remove, or change our valuation models, methodologies, data sources, and features at any time, in our sole discretion and without notice, and the values shown may change as a result. This Section is qualified in full by the Valuation Disclaimer.

Subscriptions, plans, and fair-use refresh limits

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscriptions with differing item limits, refresh cadences, and features. Each plan includes valuation-refresh guardrails — scheduled refreshes plus limits on on-demand refreshes (per-item cooldowns, daily and monthly caps, portfolio-refresh limits). When a limit is reached, the Service shows the most recent value and refreshes it automatically on schedule. Paid plans automatically renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or by the app store through which you purchased. Where you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's refund policy and process apply.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (AI providers, market-data sources, hosting, payment processors). Their data and availability are outside our control. We are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or outages.

Intellectual property; feedback

The Service is owned by us or our licensors. If you send feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it.

Disclaimers of warranty

THE SERVICE AND ALL VALUATIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Fistbumplabs, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON ANY VALUATION (including insurance shortfalls or tax, estate, or financial consequences). Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Fistbumplabs, LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your representation of valuations to third parties.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or to comply with law. Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and waive any objection to venue in those courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
