After a flood one Christmas, our insurer wanted every damaged item listed, with a value. Later, estate planning meant another spreadsheet: everything we owned, what it might be worth, and who it would go to.
Both times, the list didn’t exist. Building it by hand was hard. Keeping it up to date was harder.
Going through it, we saw how much our things matter. Some matter for the paperwork, but most matter for the story behind them and the people they’re meant for.
So we built Trovfolio: one private place to build that list as you live, and keep it current. What you own, what it might be worth, the story behind it, and who it’s for.
We built it for peace of mind. We didn’t expect it to be fun.
The bag we splurged on during a vacation is worth far more today than we paid. The piece of art we bought at an auction was worth more than we ever realized. We only found out because the list kept its values current.
Now Trovfolio refreshes those estimates over time and shows us what moved. Watching what moved became the fun part. And our estate finally had a list that stays current on its own.
Trovfolio is built and run by Fist Bump Labs, a venture studio led by operators who have spent decades building, scaling and selling companies. We’ve done this before, and we built Trovfolio to last.
Shannon leads product development for Trovfolio. He co-founded SASid, an insurtech company, and sold it to Acrisure, so he knows the world of records, risk and insurance that Trovfolio grew out of. Today he works with several companies as they scale and grow, serves on the board of Kandu, and develops property alongside Bekki.
Bekki leads brand strategy and marketing. She joined Studer Group early and helped scale it through multiple stages of growth and a private equity transition. Along the way she built Fire Starter Publishing, which grew to more than 40 books, including several bestsellers. She now leads Be the Bulb Publishing, a selective editorial practice, develops property with Shannon, and serves on the board of Forward Janesville and on the Unsheltered Task Force.
Behind the founders is a small, hands-on team from across the Fist Bump Labs network. It includes engineers trained in computer science who build AI-driven automation, and go-to-market operators who run B2B sales execution. Small is how we work best. Scaling companies efficiently is what we’ve done for decades, and Trovfolio is built the same way: lean, focused and made to grow.
